EPI has expanded its Baltic & Arctic programme with the launch of the Arctic Governance Initiative, focusing on emerging governance challenges in the High North.
The Eurasia Policy Institute has expanded its Baltic & Arctic Research Programme with the launch of the Arctic Governance Initiative, a new strand of work dedicated to the emerging governance challenges of the High North.
The initiative will examine issues including Arctic sovereignty disputes, environmental governance, indigenous rights, and the growing strategic interest of non-Arctic states in the region.
The expansion reflects EPI's recognition that Arctic dynamics are increasingly intertwined with broader Eurasian geopolitics, particularly in light of Russia's militarization of the region and the implications for Nordic and Baltic security.
